Puck Tour: T-Mobile Arena

The first stop on my arena tour this year was T-Mobile Arena, home of the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas, Nevada. My best friend happened to have company meetings all week in Vegas, so I crashed her hotel and I took too many things from the mini fridge (sorry, Kate, I’ll venmo ya).
I hop off my five hour flight, grab a taxi, and head to the game - about 12 minutes from the airport. Getting into the arena was unusual- it seemed to be a construction area going on but once you find all the gaudi gold jackets- you know who to follow to the main entrance. T-Mobile arena was loud. That is the BEST way to describe it. The opposing fans traveled well, so going there with a different sweater on your back would most likely not cause a scene. Unless you’re an asshole, because that causes shit anywhere (pun intended).
The pregame show was incredible. Lights, some firework action, the entire crowd goes pitch black for a couple seconds, then BOOM, everybody is highlighted in gold. Truly a great fan base. Talking to a gentlemen behind me, he said that in the beginning of the inaugural season, there were not nearly as many supporters. Once they made their playoff run, the place was selling out. It was a sold out crowd, on a Monday game. I was section 4, row P seat 11 (lower level), and I paid about $224 for a single ticket, just to give you an idea of the price/seat options.
The food was alright. Tons of options, like any arena, but I got a steak quesadilla and it was mediocre. The double vodka sodas were a 10/10 would recommend, but $26 a piece.
Recommended things to do in Vegas:
I stayed right off the strip at the Waldorf Astoria, about a 10 minute Uber from the arena. First of all, go to the big Taco Bell. That is where I ate the entire time, and it did not disappoint. Fremont Street is iconic, I was told to go to the Mob Museum but did not have time. Instead, we went ziplining over the crowd. I also went to the Stratosphere Tower (it is a hotel/casino), and they have rides/attractions on the top of the building. I jumped 900 feet off of a tower; the highest sky jump in North America. Two grown men chickened out before I stepped onto the ledge, so I was extremely nervous. But if you like thrills, put that on your bucket list.
MVP OF THE GAME: Marc-André Fleury. His hand-eye coordination is fucking insane. Sick glove saves this game. 21 shots, 18 saves, 3 goals against. Open netter in the 3rd period gave the Wild a 4-2 victory.
