Weekend Bets From The Gambling Goosecast

So after last weekend's schedule confusion regarding the UFC event, I am back again with this weekend's bets to try and put you in the green. We've got another weekend of strictly combat sports. What more could you ask for?  Let's get to the bets!

Saturday: UFC Fight Night 154

Renato Moicano -200 vs Chan Sung Jung +160

Now if you read this blog post on a weekly basis, you'll probably notice that I had this event in last week's post. Sorry for the confusion. My pick does not change here. I'm taking the underdog in Chan Sung Jung aka the Korean Zombie. His last loss was a fluke. Im predicting a second round submission. Put it in the books!

Korean Zombie +160

Saturday: Bellator 223

Gegard Mousasi -550 vs Rafael Lovato Jr. +375

Gegard Mousasi is the heavy favorite for a good reason. He has a record of 45-6-2 and is currently on a 8 fight winning streak. He has fought the best of the best. His last fight was utter dominance over an undersized Rory MacDonald. He's fighting up and comer Rafael Lovato Jr. Who is no slouch in his own right.  Lovato is a 4th degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Let's just say this man knows his way around the grappling. He's definitely A dangerous fighter with a realistic shot at beat Mousasi. Mousasi better not get to relaxed in that cage or he might be put to sleep. Put it in the books!

Rafael Lovato Jr +375

Saturday: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 6

Pauli Malignaggi -235 vs Artem Lobov +185

It's 2019 and there is a Bare Knuckle Boxing league. How wild is that? There is definitely a backstory on how this fight came to be. Before Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather fought on one of the biggest PPV fights of all time, Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi sparred. There is a lot of controversy on what happened. McGregor released a video of the sparring match showing him knocking Malignaggi down.

Paulie was not pleased stating that McGregor broke boxing code by releasing that footage. He also said that it was highly edited. Knowing that he would never get to fight McGregor, he started going after Artem Lobov, who is a training partner of McGregor. Artem has had some high profile fights in the UFC. The problem is that he hasn't won any of them. If Paulie is smart he should win this fight with ease. He has a 38-6 boxing record while Artem has no record is traditional boxing and a record of 1-0 in Bare Knuckle. I don't see Artem doing very well here. Put it in the books!
