Weekend Bets To Protect You Against An Economy Crash

So last weekend didn't go very well at all, but this weekend is different. I am strictly betting on UFC 248 this weekend, so open your mouth, stick out your tongue, and absorb these bets into your bloodstream.

Neil Magny +150 vs Li Jingliang -185

Neil Magny is a gatekeeper. With a 14-6 record in the UFC, it seems that he streaks a few wins together and inevitably loses to a highly ranked opponent. He's been off for 16 months because of a USADA violation.

He's fighting Li Jingliang, who is 9-3 in the UFC. I'm taking the gatekeeper here. Magny is definitely Jingliang's toughest competition so far in his career. Magny is also has a perfect style to negate Jingliang's come forward high pressure pace. Magny wins this by Unanimous Decision. Put it in the books!

Deron Winn -145 vs Gerald Meerschaert +115

Deron Winn is currently 1-1 in the UFC, with his lone victory having some controversy. It hasn't been the best start to his UFC career. That being said, he is an elite wrestler and trains at American Kickboxing Academy. The same place where former light heavyweight/heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov train. He has two of the best fighters in the world to train with every day. Gerald Meerschaert has had ups and downs, having a record of 5-4 in the UFC. He has yet to beat a fighter in the upper echelon. This fights outcome is plain and simple. Meerschaert will get taken down over and over again. Put it in the books!

Joanna Jedrzejczyk +170

vs Weili Zhang -210

This fight is for the women's strawweight championship. Zhang just won the title in her last fight by knocking out Jessica in the first round. Zhang is a phenomenal talent that packs a punch. She hits harder than most men. Needless to say, she's a beast.

She is going up against former strawweight GOAT Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who held the title for a record 966 days.

This fight will be absolute bananas! I gonna have to go with Zhang on this one. She seems like she wants it more and Joanna is on the tail end of her career. Zhang wins this by stoppage. Put it in the books!

Israel Adesanya -265

vs Yoel Romero +205

This fight is the main event and for the middleweight championship. Adesanya's rise to stardom has been very impressive, almost McGregor like.

He has developed from a elite striker to an overall great fighter in just 2 years! He is the current middleweight champion and has a record of 7-0 in the UFC.

He's going up against Yoel Romero, who is 9-3 in the UFC, but has lost 3 of is last 4. In all reality, he doesn't deserve a title shot on paper, but is probably the biggest threat in the middleweight division. He is considered one of the best amateur wrestlers of all time. He's 42 years old with a body of a 20 year old. He's one of the freakiest athletes in all of combat sports. The scary thing is that Adesanya asked for this fight! He wants to take out all of the top talents in the division and I respect that. The one knock on Yoel is that he has an issue of gassing in fights.

Adesanya will take advantage of that and pick him apart. Put it in the books!

Israel Adesanya -265

There ya have it. Put some money down to make these fights even more exciting!
