The Natural Beauty Blog by Angela Watt

Not trying to burst your bubble about your beauty products but I’m going to burst your bubble.

I started noticing that the popular everyday products I was using weren’t as nourishing and purifying as their labels promised.

Did you know that there are conventional beauty products that could give you a headache due to artificial fragrance? Conventional products have a negative impact on the environment and you. The conventional beauty products have artificial colors, and fillers. All of that can lead to skin redness, irritation, and breakouts.  There are chemicals in conventional beauty that are used to mimic your body’s hormones, that is called Parabens, which is also a preservative to extend the shelf life.

On the other hand all natural products have the most benefits such as:  being environmentally friendly, the essentials oils that are used in the product could also be used as aromatherapy, organic beauty products were formulated to work with your skin, and organic products are mainly composed of pure concentrated oil, allowing you to achieve excellent results even when a small amount is applied. Organic products have a shorter shelf life span but that should not be your cause of concern as the product will most likely be emptied before the expiration date is reached. Also, natural beauty products work better over time because they’re free from fillers and irritants.

Organic products might be on the pricey side, but I promise you they’re worth every penny. nice knowing that putting pure natural organic products on your face is beneficial in a positive way like having an impact on your well-being, then being affected by conventional beauty products which can cause irritations, breakouts, and redness to the skin. The regular use of conventional beauty products can be detrimental over time.

The natural products that I use, and LOVE are:

Vegan Skincare: Hyaluronic + Collagen (I love this oil for hydration, I use this in my everyday face routine)

The Body Deli: Sage & Grapefruit Cleanser (My all-time favorite all-natural face wash. This face wash includes Sage, Tea Tree oil, Dandelion, Kale Juice, and 2%Salicylic Acid. This is also included in my everyday face routine)

The Body Deli: Hand and Body lotion (This lotion contains: Fossilized Amber, Cardamom, and Vanilla Bourbon. I use this mostly on my arms and hands.)

Plant Apothecary: Start HAPPY body wash (Best all-natural shower gel I came across in a while this product contains Geranium and Peppermint. I use this mixed with WAKEY WAKEY)

Plant Apothecary: WAKEY WAKEY bodywash (Another all-time favorite body gel, I use it in the mornings around my neck and arms. It contains Rosemary and Lemongrass.)
