It’s always fun to revisit old predictions and see how wrong you were. I do have to give myself some credit because I feel like a few of these predictions are still holding up even with some time left to go in the NHL season. It may be too early to check myself here, but I think its still something worth talking about.

July 1st is always an eventful day in the NHL. Players find new homes via free agency and trades for a majority of the day. Some teams do better than others when it comes to approaching this day. This year had several teams finding elite talent while others had to sit back and dig to find some skill in the lower ranks of free agency.
