It’s Finally Time to Review Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Now we’ve been blessed with a semi-decent Star Wars film, I feel like it’s been long enough since it’s December release date to finally break it down. I’ll start with the bad and end on a high note for the movie.
Potential Phase 4 Villains for the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is missing a big piece: a villain. But who could possibly meet the standards set by their predecessor, Thanos? Well, here are some potential candidates for the next phase of the MCU, and beyond.
Top 5 Hockey Movies
Sports movies is a genre of movies that really has an elite group of timeless movies: Remember the Titans, Bull Durham, Rudy, and a few more. Hockey movies are no different. So, I thought to myself, “what better way to pass the time this summer then to re-watch some of these classics. After all, I can only watch the Avengers so many times….
Review: Dr. Mario World
For those of you that haven’t heard, Nintendo recently dropped Dr. Mario World for mobile devices. Dr. Mario for the original NES was one of those games that was so much fun yet so challenging at the higher levels (a tip of the hat to you if you can beat level 24). It isn’t beyond me from time to time to hook up the old system and play a few rounds so as anyone could imagine, the news of the new Dr. Mario World for the mobile devices was like gift from heaven. That being said, the game was not what I expected.
AR vs VR... Which One Will Be The Future of Gaming?
So, I have spending a lot of time playing VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) games over the last couple years. The processing power required to make a video game for AR is far less then what it takes to make a VR one. With companies like Niantic, who created Pokémon Go and now The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wizards Unite game, they have been able to take things from the stories and shows we love and put them into the real world and allow us to interact with them through the game app.
Should We Still Pre-Order Games?
There is a topic that is gaining a lot of traction recently and that is pre-orders. Last month we finished up E3 2019, the biggest gaming expo that every gamer looks forward to. It is truly one of the most wonderful times of the year when we get to see what games developers have been pouring their heart and soul into and the results usually don’t disappoint. With so many big titles being named and release dates being talked about, it begs the question; Should we be pre-ordering these games?
Game Streaming: A Cost Effective Future?
With the current PlayStation Now and the announcements of Xcloud, Stadia, Orion, Uplay, as well as Apple and Amazon’s plans to release their services, there’s going to be no shortage of game streaming anytime soon. That being said, what will these game streaming services look like and what impact are they going to have on our wallets?
Godzilla: King of the Monsters Review
Godzilla movies are a staple in my family. When I was a kid, my dad and I watched the old Japanese movies on laser disc (like record-sized DVDs. Seriously, it was a thing.) The old movies were very story-driven and had much more value than people realized, even though they were old and kind of corny.
Leaked: Avengers Game to be Revealed at E3!
Back in 2017 there was a teaser that was released that there would be an Avengers game making its way into a video game at some point. With the completion of the movies, our patience and anticipation may finally be rewarded. There has been a leak that on June 10th, Square Enix will be officially announcing their Marvel Avengers game at E3!
A Super Co-Op Move!
Recently some major news hit the gaming world that has everyone excited. In fact, most people would say that this recent news would never happen - but it did! The two biggest rivals in gaming today, Sony and Microsoft, have announced that they will join forces to enhance their game streaming services! This news has the gaming world a buzz but what does this mean?
Should Next-Gen Consoles Focus on Graphics Anymore?
Today, new details were released regarding the Sony PS5 during an investor’s relations meeting. One of the details that emerged (not surprisingly) is support for 8K devices. On the surface it seemed obvious this was great news but the more I thought about it the more I started to ask the question, should the next-gen consoles be focusing their energy on improving the graphics?
GOT Series Finale Reaction
For most fans, the ending was unsatisfying and seriously underwhelming. The outrage and disgust from the final season was mostly due to a rushed feeling and a lack of creativity to the completion of each of the remaining characters. Did I hate the way the show ended? No, I thought it was okay. Not great, but just okay. I think it could’ve been better, but I’m not signing a dumbass petition to change it because I know that the writers don’t give a shit what I think. Also, it’s a tv show. Grow up.
The Mad Queen
Anybody in her shoes probably would’ve lost their mind years ago, but the Dragon Queen has always been a strong individual, both mentally and physically. But does she seem to be succumbing to the same fate as her father, Aerys Targaryen? Here’s a few reasons why she might be:

Top 10 Marvel (MCU) Movies
Ever since 2008 we’ve had 22 Marvel movies that took us from the first Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been overall good to us. Everything movie in between those two can be considered anywhere from amazing to… well just a shitty movie
