Ranking the 31 Current NHL Unis (31 - 26)
After my last jersey ranking article (attached link), I quickly realized how passionate people are about hockey jerseys. Especially Buffalo Sabres fans… I’ve always been a fan of sports uniforms and jerseys too, and seeing how well-received my last article was (*heavy sarcasm*), I figured, “why not try it again?” This list is comprised of all current 31 NHL teams and takes into consideration their home and away unis. No 3rds, no alternates, no Winter Classics. Just the basics here, and I’ll be releasing 5 at a time. Here’s the bottom 6 to start.
Apple Arcade: Review
I know, I know, I’m a little late to the party to be reviewing something that came out almost a month ago but I have finally played enough to give Apple Arcade a fair review. I can admit that if I reviewed this right off the bat there wouldn’t have been much positive to say. In fact, some of the games I have played seem like they could easily be procured right out of the regular app store without paying the $4.99/month price tag.
Speakeasy Review: Joker
A review on the origin of the most popular comic villain out there. Is it worth the laugh? Or is the film a joke? You’ll definitely want to ask “Why so serious?”
Calder Watch 2020
The Calder Memorial Trophy is awarded to the NHL’s best rookie for the regular season. The last few winners were Elias Pettersson (2019), Matthew Barzal (2018), and Auston Matthews (2017). Pretty good company. Looking ahead to 2020, there are several players who have a fairly decent chance of winning it. This is a list of POTENTIAL Calder candidates.

Top 5 SNES Games Available on the Switch
The Super Nintendo (SNES) was a big part of my life as a kid. I played so many games on that system for countless hours. I was obviously a big Mortal Kombat II guy, but there were so many games I can remember logging tons of hours into. Lucky for me and the rest of the millennial gaming world who grew up on these games, Nintendo has decided to offer up 20 SNES games that are now available on the Nintendo Switch for online subscribers. So, when something like this happens, its only natural that I come up with a ranking. Here’s my top 5.
Who in the hell is Gardner Minshew?
Week 1 was an interesting week as always. It’s always a tough week to bet on. Nobody really knows how there team is going to perform. That’s what makes it exciting.
2019 New NHL Jersey Ratings (UPDATED)
I believe it was during the 1990’s to boost merchandise sales that the NHL introduced 3rd jerseys. Ever since then, we’ve been treated to some of the greatest hockey uniforms in history, but also some of the worst. This offseason a few teams decided to spice things up around their arenas by adding new unis to their lineups. Was this the greatest offseason for uniform changes we’ve ever had? No, but I do feel that this new lineup of hockey sweaters is worth putting through a grading scale.
Lamar Jackson is the Truth and Kyler Murray is a Turd
Week 1 is here! Which means another new episode of the Gambling Goosecast is out with the locks help put you into the next tax bracket. In this episode I give out 4 bets with the help of a couple of callers. One of those callers being my dad giving out his “Gus Senior’s Lock of the Week”.
Lebron vs. Points
Something special is going to happen this year in the NBA. When it does, we will be asking ourselves the age-old question, “Who is the greatest?”
