2019 New NHL Jersey Ratings (UPDATED)
I believe it was during the 1990’s to boost merchandise sales that the NHL introduced 3rd jerseys. Ever since then, we’ve been treated to some of the greatest hockey uniforms in history, but also some of the worst. This offseason a few teams decided to spice things up around their arenas by adding new unis to their lineups. Was this the greatest offseason for uniform changes we’ve ever had? No, but I do feel that this new lineup of hockey sweaters is worth putting through a grading scale.

Winners and Losers of NHL Free Agency 2019
July 1st is always an eventful day in the NHL. Players find new homes via free agency and trades for a majority of the day. Some teams do better than others when it comes to approaching this day. This year had several teams finding elite talent while others had to sit back and dig to find some skill in the lower ranks of free agency.
The Devils Had One Hell of a Weekend
Going into the draft this past Friday, the Devils had a very difficult decision to make. They were awarded the 1st overall pick in this year’s entry draft and were given the opportunity to select either Jack Hughes, or Kaapa Kakko. The draft class was deep this year, but these two were very clearly the top choices. Once the draft began in Vancouver, the Devils kicked things off by selecting Jack Hughes.
Blues Win the Stanley Cup
It’s been a long season but we made it. Game 7 between the Blues and Bruins ended last night with St. Louis coming out on top and claiming their first ever Stanley Cup championship.

Kessel has a “no trade clause” as a part of his contract, but he has given Pittsburgh 8 teams that he would be willing to go to. It probably isn’t Minnesota, as per Pierre LeBrun. We can also assume it isn't Philadelphia because these two cities despise each other. So, here’s a list of potential destinations that I think Phil the Thrill could be headed to this summer.
Stanley Cup Final Preview: Bruins vs. Blues
So, here we are. The Stanley Cup Final has been set. St Louis was able to defeat the Sharks in 6 games to advance to their first Cup Final appearance in 49 years. Ironically enough, the last time they made it here, they faced off against the Boston Bruins. Almost half a century later, we have a rematch between the two on the big stage.

The New Jersey Devils are going to have a tough time selecting their man at number 1 because this is a difficult decision.
